How To Make Prawn Curry Recipe?

  1. Sauté the onions: Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the onions and sauté for 2–3 minutes until soft and translucent.
  2. Add aromatics: Stir in ginger, garlic, and green chili (if using) and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Cook the spices: Add turmeric, cumin, coriander, red chili powder, and garam masala. Sauté for 1 minute until the spices release their aroma.
  4. Add tomato paste: Stir in the tomato paste and cook for a few seconds.
  5. Cook the prawns: Add the prawns and 1 cup of water. Season with salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer, covered, for 5–10 minutes or until the prawns are cooked through.
